We handle very little fiction and do not accept manuals, poetry, or children's books. We do not edit dissertations.

Publishing is tough. To gain the attention of an agent or editor, your manuscript has to sparkle.

That's where we come in.

Midwest Book Doctors is a group of skilled, seasoned editors; our mission is to help you make your manuscript the best it can be before you submit it to an agent or editor.

We don't guarantee that our services will make your book sell--and you should run away from any independent editor who makes such a claim--but we know we can make your book better than it is today. And if you're serious about your writing, making it better is what it's all about.

We are not agents nor are we affiliated with any literary agency or publishing house. We receive no fees from anyone but our clients.
